Al- Asar academy is one of the prime institutions in the region producing students of excellent educational standards and of diversified backgrounds including medical sciences, engineering and business etc. Construction of the school was started in May 1992 and proper classes / sessions followed in April 1993 with the enrollment of 173 students.

Present Status

Currently, as many as 2400 student (about 1800 boys and 400 girls) are studying in various grades from nursery to intermediate (higher secondary) levels. Since its inception, Al- Asar Academy has consistently supported the deserving orphan children by completely or partially waiving the school fees. At present, 260 orphaned children are studying in the Academy with some being supported by H.O.P.E. Foundation. However, majority of the students still needs financial assistance. In addition, a two-storey  Technical College is also being constructed and is expected to be completed by September 2015. The project will offer diploma in various disciplines such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering.



The academy has the following three  three hostels, each equipped with play ground and gym.

  • Teachers’ Hostel: About 22 teachers with diversified experiences and qualifications have been accommodated to upgrade and maintain the students’ abilities and standards.
  • Junior and Senior Hostels: The junior and senior hostels provide accommodation to the students of grade 5 to 10 and higher grades respectively. Currently, at least 140 students are provided accommodation with in these hostels.
