History & introduction

A projetc of Jabir Bin hayan Trust, Uswa Public High School is located in Hangu district, KPK Province Pakistan. Since its establishment in 2007-08, the number of students in the school has gradually increased with currently over 485 students enrolled in various grades. The fact that almost half of the students are females highlights the significance of Uswa Public School in a remote area of northern Pakistan where opportunities for girls’ education are rare to negligible.

Uswa Public School has the following  sections or levels for various grades:

1-Junior (consists of Playgroup, Nursery and Prep)

2- Primary (consists of grade 1 to grade 5)

3- Senior (consists of grade 6 to 9)

The school is registered with and follows the curriculum prescribed for Secondary School Certificate examinations under Board of Secondary Education, Kohat.

Financial assistance / scholarships

The school offers a comprehensive system of need-based scholarship to accommodate deserving and needy students. Scholarship covers financial needs of students by providing support in monthly tuition fees, school uniform and course books. In some cases, admission fee and security deposit is also waived or reduced. As of the year 2014-2015, H.O.P.E. Foundation Canada is sponsoring at least 25 children in this school.
