Special Initiative for Post-Secondary Education
In the year 2013, HOPE decided to select ten students annually for enrollment in a “Diploma of Associate Engineers”. The goal is to equip them with technical skills and knowledge that could help become self-sustained. Majority of the students were from rural and remote areas such as Baluchistan. Due to some inevitable family issues, two students could not continue with their studies beyond first year. Another student immigrated to Australia. The remaining seven students appeared in the final year exam and all passed with flying colors. A marvelous success was achieved by the young, energetic Ali Khan who got first class first position in two consecutive years (first year and then second year) in the examinations held under Punjab Board of Technical Education Lahore (PBTE). As an appreciation, Ali also received a brand new motor bike from his school i.e. Pak Polytechnic Institute, Lahore. He will now take admission in BSCS (Bachelor in Computer Science) in Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad on a scholarship fully sponsored by H.O.P.E. All students and their families sincerely thank all the sponsors and donors of H.O.P.E. Foundation Canada fir their consistent and generous support throughout their education.
